The Joke Thief

The Joke Thief takes us on the journey of one man's last hurrah. Simon McCabe is a stand-up comedian who's been making people laugh for 35 years. He has always been the life of the party, but now he is tired, miserable, and almost done with life because he never gets a break because people think he steals jokes. On a faithful night, his longtime friend and fellow comedian talks the owner of a comedy club into giving Simon one last chance to make up for his mistakes. On the way to his gig, Simon takes us on a whirlwind tour of his life as he replays special moments in an emotional series of flashbacks that made him the sad, funny person he is today.
