Cadets were sent to the Ilyinsky line, fighting alongside systems from the Soviet 43rd Army to keep back the German breakthrough until reinforcements got here. Hopelessly exceeded, young men put down their lives in a fight lasting almost two weeks to obstruct the much exceptional German forces progressing in the direction of Moscow. Around 3,500 cadets as well as their commanders were sent out to stand up the last line of defense outside Moscow. Most of them continued to be there for infinity.
