The Last Ones

This is the landscape of Lapland. Rupi is a young miner who spends his days trafficking in illegal drugs, drinking, and playing slot machines. Rupi discovers that he has feelings for the widow of his murdered friend. Nevertheless, the mine's owner wants her as well. Violence becomes a show, tragedy humorous, tundra cold, people degrade and hope transitory, like a shooting star in the sky. Violence becomes a display. In this world, however, there is a glimmer of hope that can be found.
