The modern world has many secrets, but by far the most startling is that witches still dwell among us; nasty supernatural creatures intent on unleashing the Black Death on the earth and putting an end to the human race once and for all. For generations, armies of witch hunters have fought this unnatural foe, including Kaulder, a gallant warrior who slayed the all-powerful Witch Queen many years ago, decimating her followers in the process. The Queen cursed Kaulder with immortality seconds before her death, eternally isolating him from his loving wife and daughter.
