The Major and the Minor

A year and 25 jobs later, Susan Applegate has had enough of New York and decides to head back to her hometown. In order to travel for half the price, Susan pretends to be a twelve-year-old after realizing she lacks the funds to do so. He takes the "kid" in under his wing after she is caught out by the conductors, Major Philip Kirby, a military training instructor.
