The Man from Snowy River

Jim Craig grew up on his father's farm in the Australian foothills for his first 18 years of life. Because of his father's death, he is forced to work in the lowlands in order to earn enough money to put the farm back on its feet and rebuild it. One of Kirk Douglas's dual parts is that of twin brothers who haven't talked in years. One of them was Jim's father's best friend, and the other of them happens to be the father of the girl he has his heart set on marrying.
