The Man Standing Next

In the 1970s, Korea is under the entire control of President Park, who controls the KCIA, the organization with an advantage over every branch of government. Director of the KCIA, KIM Gyu-pyeong, appears to be the most promising candidate for second-in-command. PARK Yong-gak, a former KCIA director who knows all about the government's secret operations, flees to the United States, where an investigation into 'Koreagate' is underway. As the strain rises, the entire second-in-oppressive command's political maneuvering becomes apparent.
