The Mighty

This is the story of a deep bond between a young boy with Morquio's syndrome and a bullied older guy due to his size. The film, based on the novel Freak the Mighty, examines the development of trust and friendship. Kevin, a clever individual, aids Maxwell in enhancing his reading abilities. In exchange, Kevin requests that Maxwell take him out, as he is not permitted to leave the house without permission. Kevin and Maxwell, who are social misfits in their community, come to see their similarities and accept that they are "freaks" with nothing stopping them.
