The blockbuster fantasy series continues with its third installment, which features the return of the Monkey King (Aaron Kwok) in his wildest and most exciting adventure to date! While the Monkey King and his traveling companions were continuing their epic journey to the West, they were kidnapped by the Queen of an all-female land. The Queen of this land believes that the Monkey King and his traveling companions are a part of an ancient prophecy that foretells the fall of her kingdom. The travelers concoct an escape strategy using a lot of sorcery and a small amount of charm between them. However, when their deceit provokes the wrath of the powerful River God, they understand that they may be responsible for the doom that has been predicted, unless they can find a way to appease her fury.
