The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking

As a result of a severe storm, Pippi Longstocking and her horse, Alfonso, as well as her pet monkey, Mr. Neilson, are stranded in the old family home, which is rumored to be haunted by the local youngsters. After a while, two children, Tommy and his sister Anika, enter the house, only to run into Pippi and become friends. It doesn't take long for the three of them to become friends and go on a variety of adventures together, including washing the floor with scouring shoes, avoiding the "splunks," barreling down a waterfall, and assisting Pippi with her dilemma of having to go to an orphanage. The majority of the enjoyment will likely come from older children.
