The Next Karate Kid

During a WWII remembrance ceremony for Japanese soldiers in the US Army, Mr. Miyagi runs into the widow of his former commanding officer. A young woman who lost both of her parents in an accident and is still dealing with her grief is introduced to him as Julie, a solitary, angst-ridden teenager. Miyagi chooses to teach her karate so that she can overcome her problems and get back on the right track.
