Minor leaguer Carlton Attic takes an unforeseen road trip to track down his separated papa, epic baseball player Kyle Garret when Carlton's mother becomes unwell. As soon as reunited, Carlton has a hard time to deal with the series of accidents triggered by his papa's shenanigans. Efforts at bonding capped as the mismatched duo make their way from Ohio back home to Houston to rejoin the household.
