Hubie is a shy bachelor penguin who likes Marina, a pretty girl. Ancient penguin tradition says that males must give their mate a pebble and then marry them for life, so this is how it works. If Drake throws Hubie into the rough sea before he can give it to Marina, Hubie is washed off to his death.
