The Plague Dogs
The Plague Dogs is a 1982 animated film based on Richard Adams's 1977 book of the same name. It is based on the movie. They are two dogs called Rowf and Snitter, and they get out of a lab in Great Britain. During the movie, vivisection and animal research are shown to be cruel because they are done for the sake of the story.
