The Police Are Blundering in the Dark

When Giorgio D'Amato arrives at Edmondo Parisi's villa, he finds Enrichetta dead from a scissors stabbing. Parisi, the handicapped and neurotic inventor of a technology that photographs thoughts, had requested her presence at the villa. Lesbian Parisi's wife Eleonora, Alberto the ever-present butler, and Lucia the unrestrained housekeeper are among the other guests. Sara, Edmondo's niece, asks D'Amato to help her find the killer. Soon after, the strange hand strikes again, this time on Lucia.
