The Protector

Police officer Billy Wong's partner is shot and killed during a heist while on patrol in New York City. When the daughter of a wealthy businessman, Laura Shapiro, is kidnapped, Billy and his new partner, Danny Garoni, are on the job as security guards at a fashion show. The Federal authorities assume that Laura's father is linked with Mr. Ko, a Hong Kong drug lord, and as a result, the New York City police commissioner sent the two officers to Hong Kong to conduct an investigation.
