The Red Violin

The story of a famous musical instrument that has been around for 300 years and is now up for auction in Montreal. Bussotti (Cecchi) made the red violin in 1681. Its unusual color comes from human blood that was mixed into the finish. Because of this, the violin goes to Austria, England, China, and Canada, where it brings both beauty and tragedy.
