March of 1965. USSR and USA compete for supremacy in space during the Cold War. In this competition, both superpowers hope to be the first to send a man into space for a sustained period of time. To do so, no price or risk is too high or too risky. For now, it's up to a veteran from World War II and a young test pilot to complete this task.
