The Suburbans
The Suburbans, a 1980s one-hit wonder band, reunite for a special performance at the wedding of one of the ex-members. A young record label talent scout happens to be in the crowd at the wedding and decides to help the now 40-ish performers make a comeback. The film seeks to satirize the music industry of the 1990s by contrasting it with the simpler environment of the 1980s.
