The Sugarland Express

Their son was taken from them by the state of Texas, and Lou-Jean and Clovis Poplin are now resolute in their quest for his return. In addition to kidnapping Lou-son Jean's from his foster home and holding a highway patrolman hostage, Lou-Jean frees Clovis from prison. It's not long before the couple become odd folk heroes and even begin to form a friendship with the police officer they're being held against their will.
