The Testament of Dr. Mabuse

Professor Baum runs an asylum where a detective who was attacked by thugs is put in. He sees the professor's attention on another patient, Dr. Mabuse the hypnotist, who is a criminal genius who is also a patient. Police Commissioner Lohmann must figure out how Mabuse is communicating with the criminals, even though there are conflicting reports about his whereabouts, in order to capture him for good.
