Doug MacRay is a career criminal who, being more astute than the other members of his crew, is watching for an opportunity to get out of the criminal world. When a bank robbery leads to the group kidnapping an attractive branch manager, he takes on the responsibility of watching her. However, as their connection develops, there is a risk that their identities will be revealed to the FBI agent who is investigating Doug and his team.
