Cop Yu Chau has been so undercover in the triad that he is now a member of the police force. He can't figure out which side of the law he's on any more. As soon as one of his friends dies during an operation, he runs off into the woods to get better. When he comes back, he teams up with Jim and Jackie to catch a triad boss, only to find out that government officials are working together. Yu Chau has to decide again whether or not to break the law.
