Matt Cruse's unnerving psychosexual chiller The Watcher Self is about one woman's slide into hell. Cora (Karen French) awakens to the aftereffects of a nightmare. In an attempt to maintain a normal schedule, she engages in a series of emotionally distant interactions and develops an odd psychic connection with the mysterious and elusive Van (Julian Shaw). Then, as echoes from the past threaten to destabilize her precarious mental state, Cora becomes increasingly disoriented in her surroundings.
