A little boy who has a vivid imagination and is prone to making things up repeatedly claims to have witnessed a murder, but neither his parents nor the authorities believe him. The only people who take him seriously are the murderers, who live upstairs, are aware that he witnessed what they did, and are working toward permanently silencing him.
