The tragic loss of a loved one has caused Reina and Cory, a former college sweetheart, to drift apart. Finally, Cory brings Reina back to her childhood home in an attempt to rekindle the relationship. Despite a stressful backwoods encounter with two locals, they safely arrive at the abandoned, lovely property and begin to settle in. Unwinding by a roaring fire, they discover a new rhythm in their relationship. While they had no idea who Zeke was, they had no idea that he was their son until they had a knock at their door. Reina and Zeke's developing affection for one another sparks off a bizarre and sleepless night that puts the relationship between Reina and Cory to the test.
