Meet Dave Bertman, a 37-year-old single father of one who maintains a tight grip on reality. Medicinal marijuana activists with "loaded" guns interrupt Bertman's planned reunion cookout with his college debate teammates, kicking off his "higher" education. When Bertman's adolescent daughter Gina Marie shows up suddenly with a joint in her pocket, he immediately suspects the worst. Only until he has confronted his own hypocrisies will he be able to engage in the open and honest talk necessary for father and daughter to better understand and reconcile.
