The second installment in David Hare's trilogy about Johnny Worricker. Johnny Worricker, the loose-limbed spy who was last seen whistleblowing at MI5 in Page Eight, has a fresh lease on life. he's hiding out in a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses on the Caribbean islands of the same name, eating lobster, and referring to himself as Tom Eliot (he's a poet at heart). When Christopher Walken enters the scene as a mysterious American who claims to know Johnny, we're immediately sucked into his world and his plight. Following this incident, he is forced to spend time with an unidentified group of American businesspeople who claim to be at the islands for a conference on the global financial crisis. Following the drowning of one of them in the sea, their finance public relations manager appears to know more than she is letting on. Worricker swiftly discovers the scope of their dubious operations, and he realizes that he must move quickly if he wants to survive when links to British Prime Minister Alec Beasley are discovered.
