Count Karstein resurrects Mircalla Karnstein, who initiates him into vampirism while dabbling in Satanism. As the community suffers a spate of deaths, Gustav, the commander of the Puritan organization, leads his men in locating and destroying the source of the plague. One of Gustav's twin nieces has been infected with witchcraft, but Gustav's passion and venom have imprisoned the innocent Maria, threatening her with a painful execution, while Frieda continues her orgy of wickedness.
