Veronika Voss
Veronika Voss, a German film star, became addicted to drugs in Munich in 1955 at the hands of a corrupt doctor, Dr. Marianne Katz. She kept her morphine supply going. Following a meeting with a sports writer named Robert Krohn, Veronika starts to think about how she could return to being a star. After a while, Veronika starts thinking seriously about her return to the screen, but then she realizes how sick she has become because of her drug habit.
