Weathering with You
Tokyo is experiencing rain showers that appear to slow everyone down. In the middle of this apparently endless rain, runaway high school student Hodaka Morishima finds work at a small publisher. Hina Amano is orphaned and must support herself and her brother. Both fates intertwine when Hodaka rescues Hina from shady men and they run away. Hodaka learns that Hina can call the sun when she prays for it. With Tokyo's peculiar weather, Hodaka sees the possibilities. Hina should be a "sunshine girl" who brightens people's days when they need it. First, things look up. It's common knowledge that power costs a lot.
