In a chocolate factory, Louis Pinnock is a white worker. He is a good husband and father to two young children. During the delivery of a package for Thaddeus Thomas, he is mistaken for someone who is watching. He loses his job, is beaten by black cops, and his family is kicked out of their home because of this. Pinnock is desperate, so he takes a gun and kidnaps Thomas, demanding that the police do something about him.
