Young Mr. Lincoln
In this dramatized depiction of Abraham Lincoln's early legal career in Illinois, the president is born into a poor log cabin, where his first love, Ann Rutledge, encourages him to pursue a legal profession. As a result of her untimely death, Abraham Lincoln opens a law business in Springfield, where he meets a young woman named Mary Todd. Lincoln's legal abilities are put to the test as he is tasked with the arduous task of defending two brothers who are suspected of murdering their father.
