YOUTH examines the enduring friendship between two friends who are on holiday in a fancy Swiss Alps cabin as they contemplate retirement. In contrast to Fred, who has no intention of resuming his musical career despite the urgings of his daughter Lena, Mick is determined to complete the screenplay for what may be his last significant picture for his muse Brenda. Where will inspiration lead their younger friend Jimmy, a struggling actor attempting to make meaning of his next performance?
