Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog

The American animated series Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise by Sega. In September 1993, it was initially televised. It follows the adventures of the eponymous character Sonic the Hedgehog and his sidekick Tails as they seek to stop Dr. Robotnik and his army of robots from taking over the planet Mobius. Another Sonic series, just titled Sonic the Hedgehog, was simultaneously shown. Sonic was presented as competent and intelligent in Adventures, but Robotnik, Scratch, and Grounder were clumsy in the other series.
