It ran on Sundays at 8:00 pm Eastern time until March9,2005, when it shifted to Wednesdays at the same hour. The show follows the Philadelphia Pryors in the 1960s. First season is1963–64, second is1964–65, and third is 1965–66. When the show aired in Australia as Our Generation, it was renamed American Dreams for season 2. Emerson Hart of Tonic wrote and performed "Generation." Hart won the 2003 ASCAP award for Best TV Theme Song. 2003 TV Land "Future Classic" winner.
