Ten strangers are pulled from their everyday lives to an isolated rock off the coast of Devon. But, as the mismatched company awaits the arrival of the hosts, the oddly called Mr. and Mrs. U.N. Owen, the weather turns bad and they are cut off from civilization. The visitors, each wrestling with their conscience, will begin to die one by one, according to the rules of the nursery rhyme 'Ten Little Soldier Boys,' a rhyme that hangs in every room of the house and concludes with the most horrific lines of all: '... and suddenly there were none.'
