Anne of Green Gables

Anne of Green Gables is an animated TV series by Nippon Animation. It's based on the novel by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Nippon Animation's 1979 show aired on Fuji TV from January 7 to December 30, 1979. There were 50 episodes. It is shipped to Asia, Europe, and Canada. As with the novels, the animated version of Anne is cherished in Japan to this day. A "DVD commemorative BOX set" was released on August22,2008, and Kon'nichiwa Anne Before Green Gables premiered on April5, 2009 in Japan.
