Working in South Boston bars taught actor/adventurer Jack Maxwell a lot, and one lesson jumped out: share a few beers with a stranger and the world opens up. These encounters prompted "Booze Traveler," a film that follows Maxwell throughout the world in order to satisfy his curiosity about what people drink, why they drink it, and the stories it inspires. Maxwell learns about the intoxicating customs of Armenia, Belize, Lithuania, Mongolia, Nepal, and other countries through meeting with natives, participating in activities, and even assisting with the alcohol production process. In each location, he discovers a unique drink, meets new people, and exchanges stories.
