Toon Network's Chowder is an American cartoon series produced by CH Greenblatt. As an apprentice in Mung Daal's catering company, Chowder, a young ambitious chef, goes through the motions of his daily life. In spite of his good intentions, Chowder gets himself into trouble time and time again due to his voracious appetite and scatterbrained disposition. Mung's adversary Endive's nemesis Panini, the Endive apprentice, wants Chowder to be her "lover," which he despises. Traditional animation and short stop-motion puppet sequences intercut with the episodes and running over the end credits are used to create the show. Three seasons and 49 episodes later, Chowder debuted on November2, 2007. There were six Annie Award nominations and two more Emmy Award nominations during the course of its run. When "Chowder Grows Up" premiered on August7,2010, C.H. Greenblatt was cast as Chowder, the adult version of the character.
