Ctrl is an NBC comedy web series set in the United States. It's the first time a major television network has created a standalone web series. Tony Hale plays as a regular office worker with low self-confidence who realizes he can erase things in real life. It's an adaptation and expansion of Robert Kirbyson's short film Ctrl Z, which won the Sundance Film Festival in 2008. SXM recognized and created CTRL after seeing the original short film Ctrl Z at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008. The online series was eventually produced by SXM in collaboration with NBC's digital division. All rights reverted to SXM after NBC closed the digital studio in2011, and they are presently developing Season 2 with Yahoo and a private investor. The episodes appear to have been removed from the NBC website as of early2012, but they are still available on Hulu.
