Da Ali G Show is the name of two satirical TV shows with the same name. They were both made by and star the English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who plays the character Ali G. In the UK, the first season was shown on Channel4, and in the US, the second season was shown on HBO. In the UK and Australia, the second season was called Ali G in da USAiii. In the show, Baron Cohen plays Ali G, the main character, as well as Borat Sagdiyev, a Kazakh, and Brüno Gehard, an Austrian gay journalist. The three of them do interviews with people who don't know what's going on. During these interviews, they ask strange and silly questions. On July23,2005, HBO said that there were no plans to make another season of the show. Baron Cohen has since made three movies with each of his three characters from the show: Ali G Indahouse, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and Brüno.
