Dance Academy
A few gifted students are selected for the excruciatingly difficult training at Sydney's National Dance Academy. Tara Webster, a sheepfarmgirl with aspirations to be the next best ballerina, is the protagonist of the film. Outsiders Samuel 'Sammy,' a Jewish heir to a long line of doctors, and Christian, a minor juvenile delinquent, start out as outcasts but gradually blend in, establishing new friends. Kat, the daughter of a famous ballerina, also introduces them to their last-year brother Ethan, who is already pursuing a career as a choreographer. Abigail, a bright young girl who will walk over dead bodies to reach the stars, also tries to derail everything and everyone.
