Dance Moms
Dance Moms is a Lifetime television show that premiered on July 13, 2011. It is set in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the Abby Lee Dance Company, and chronicles children's early careers in the dance show business, as well as their mothers. It was created by Collins Avenue Productions. Dance Moms: Miami, a spinoff series set in Miami at Victor Smalley and Angel Armas' Stars Dance Studio, began on April 3, 2012, and was cancelled after eight episodes in September 2012. Lifetime announced on October 10, 2012, that they had renewed Dance Moms for a third season of 26 episodes, which premiered on January 1, 2013.
