Dororo to Hyakkimaru
His father, Kagemitsu Daigo, paid demons to take his son's bodily parts before he was born so that Hyakkimaru might fulfill his father's dream of taking over the land. As soon as the kid was delivered, he was found to have 48 missing parts of his body, and he was dumped in a river. Having grown up, Hyakkimaru now has a set of artificial body parts that will allow him to defeat the 48 demons he created from his own body and retrieve his own missing parts. Dororo, a young thief who joins them on their quest, becomes a close buddy.
