Easy Money is a television comedy-drama series that ran on The CW from October 5, 2008 until August 16, 2009. Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider created the show. The show, along with Valentine, Surviving Suburbia, and In Harm's Way, is produced by Media Rights Capital, an independent television programming company. The CW sold the Sunday night block to the producers on a leased-time basis after the network had no ratings success with the night. The series' production was halted in mid-October and was anticipated to resume within four to six weeks. MRC decided to terminate both Easy Money and Valentine two weeks later. The CW stated on November 20, 2008, that it was terminating its Sunday Night partnership with MRC, eliminating the current shows and programming the night itself. The CW announced on July 6, 2009, that beginning July 26, the series would begin burning off the remaining episodes on Sundays at 7 p.m.
