Eerie, Indiana is a 1991 to 1992 American television series that aired on NBC. José Rivera and Karl Schaefer conceived the series, with Joe Dante serving as a creative consultant. Nineteen episodes were created in all. When the series was syndicated on The Disney Channel in1993, the final episode aired for the first time. When Fox's children's programming block Fox Kids showed the series in1997, it gained a new fan base and gained something of a cult following despite its brief existence. The series' increased popularity prompted Fox to launch a spin-off, Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension, which lasted only one season in 1998.
