It was distributed by Time-Telepictures Television from 1995 until2003. Time-Telepictures Television was the result of a combination between Time Magazine and Telepictures. There was also a show called Celebrity Justice that was a spinoff of Extra. It was only on the air for a total of three seasons, from 2002 to 2005. The Ellen DeGeneres Show is the other show produced by Warner Bros. Television that will be syndicated to NBCUniversal television stations. Extra is one of the two shows that will be syndicated. Extra is one of two entertainment programs that are broadcast on WBTV; the other program is called TMZ on TV.
