After it was found in 918, the kingdom of Goryeo faced a major existential crisis when the powerful Yuan dynasty tried to subjugate them. In the fictional world of this drama, a warrior from the time of Goryeo meets a plastic surgeon from the present. The plastic surgeon is kidnapped by the warrior who was told by the king to find a doctor who can save the queen's life. People who were not meant to live together are put together to fight their way through the trials on the land of Goryeo. The warrior promises to send her back to her world, but a sneaky royal advisor convinces the king that the surgeon should stay because she can help him. There, the surgeon falls in love with the leader of the royal guard, who is a warrior. In this time of change and chaos, love grows that goes beyond time and space.
