Children of Dune is a three-part miniseries based on Frank Herbert's novels Dune Messiah and Children of Dune, written and directed by John Harrison and directed by Greg Yaitanes. Children of Dune, which debuted on the Sci Fi Channel on March 16, 2003, is the sequel to the 2000 miniseries Frank Herbert's Dune. This miniseries and its predecessor were two of the top three most-watched shows on the Sci-Fi Channel in 2004.
